English Tea Party Gift Basket

Hi friends! Can you believe that we’re almost through April? That means that Mother’s Day is right around the corner! I love Mother’s Day, not only because I’m a mother myself, but because I love to honor the wonderful mother I have. She has always been there for me, supportive, loving and nurturing. So when it comes to Mother’s Day I always try to think of something special to give. And this year I headed down to my favorite store, Cost Plus World Market to browse their Mother’s Day Shop and come up with a grand idea. And I think I did – an English Tea Party Gift Basket!

A few weeks ago I went with my mother to a proper English tea at this adorable little shop nearby. It was such a fun experience! The tea was delicious and the scones, well yum! So I thought that an English Tea Party Gift Basket would be a fun gift so that she can host our next tea party. And Cost Plus World Market really is the place to get it ALL. From the best Entertaining products to gourmet Food & Drink, I knew that they would have everything I need to put together the perfect basket!

And they did! I picked up everything I needed for my basket. From a lovely ceramic teapot, sugar and cream pots too – to delicious flavored teas, scone mixes, raspberry curd and tea towels! I even picked up a large gorgeous basket, filler and burlap ribbon to tie it all together.

Putting together the lovely English Tea Party Gift Basket was a breeze. I started by arranging the tea towels draping over the outside of the basket. I didn’t want their beautiful pattern to get lost in the large basket. I then filled the basket with a good amount of filler to start off with.

I added the teapot and cream and sugar pots.

Then the shortbread cookies and tart shells.

Next up, don’t forget the scone mixes! Cost Plus World Market has a wide variety of flavors (even gluten-free varieties too!). I can’t wait to give these a try.

And the raspberry curd – this just looks and sounds delicious!

Last up, don’t forget the tea! I picked a few fun flavorful teas for this basket. They sound amazing!

I even used a spoon rest as a gift tag and tied it on with the burlap ribbon – how cute is that?!
