DIY Keurig K-Cup Organizer

Hi friends! Do you LOVE coffee like I do? Well I’ve been a huge fan of Keurig and the K-cup for a few years now, and today I’m sharing with you a quick, cheap and easy way to make your very own DIY Keurig K-Cup Organizer!
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of going thrift shopping at a local Goodwill with the lovely Andrea of Worley House and Laura of Pink Cake Plate. And it was so much fun! Not only did I score some great vintage Pyrex, but I also came across this empty spice rack. And a while back a friend of mine and A Night Owl contributor, Jen, mentioned that she had seen where you could upcycle an empty spice rack into a K-cup holder! I’ve always been on the lookout for a good and stylish K-cup organizer, but I’ve never wanted to pay $20-$30 for the plastic organizers I’ve seen out there, so I knew this was my solution!
The price tag on this old thing was $1.99. But lucky me! The day we visited Goodwill was 50% off Saturday! So for just $1 I knew I had a steal. I gave the rack a good washing, let it dry, then sprayed a couple of coats of spray paint (my go-to medium of choice) and voila! Pretty and functional!
What do you think of our DIY Keurig K-Cup Organizer? I’m just so happy with how it turned out. And now that it’s sitting next to my Keurig, full of my favorite Starbucks Verona K-Cups, I think I love it even more! What do you think?
Wow. Hadn’t thought of doing that, but I going to now. Very cool.
kimberly, that looks amazing! so clean and sleek and modern. the black made all the difference. you are the queen of the upcycles. =)
Wow! So jealous! That looks great! We have the same coffee maker 🙂 I’ve never tried that K cup before so I’ll have to scope it out next time I’m at the store!
PS: I am sooo looking for spice racks to re-do now!
Genius! I love it. And for $1! Thrifty crafts are the best! xoxo
Thanks April! Love your transformation too! xo
I love this! Turned out great!!! I was just getting ready to throw out my spice rack…think it’s going to get a new makeover this weekend. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Libby! Great timing! Good luck on yours!
That looks awesome! What a great find and upcycle! Looks great next to the Keurig too! Now I need to go make some more coffee…=)
Oh, I love this! Our Keurig is burgundy – I wish we’d opted for black like yours! I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for a spice rack!
Thanks Jen! Good luck!
Wowzers friend! it turned out so great!! Love it. 🙂 Now, I wanna find another one to makeover!

Love it! I think I know someone who needs this in their life. What a great Christmas gift for a coffe lover.
That looks awesome ! I am thinking that I need to start searching for an old spice rack. Great job.
SUPER CUTE!! and if you wanted to jazz it up even more, you could screw in a pretty drawer pull at the very top for a snazzy spin! 😉 LOVE it and am now on the HUNT for something fun to spray paint, you’ve created an addict outta me!
This is EXACTLY what I use for my K-cups- but I really, really should paint it! 🙂
Oh fun! You definitely should!
What a great find and great job on the revamp!! Seriously, I LOVE my K-cup brewer, and if I didn’t already have an organizer my mom got me, something like this would be fabulous in my house. xo
Thanks Alisha!
What a great idea! I wish I hadn’t just sent my old spice rack to Goodwill last week… 🙁
Great idea!! I have the reusable cups and do my own coffee in the keurig, but this makes me want to use K cups!!
Thanks Laurel!
What a fabulous find! Looks great 🙂
Thanks Fotini!
That is one heck of a transformation. What a brilliant idea. It looks so crisp and well organized. Love it!
Thanks Amy! xo
Genius! Fo real. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for a cheap spice rack b/c these k-cups are taking up way too much space on my counter currently.
Right? I had them all in a basket and it just wasn’t visibly appealing. This is so much better!
I now know what I need to find when I go thrifting again:-) I have always wanted a stand for my K-cups but could make myself pay the price for them. Yay for fun and cheap thrift store goodies!!!!
omgoodness, WAY COOL!! I love it!! What a nice thrift find!! I love seeing when people get good luck and make something SO awesome like this.
BTW – I wanted to tell you – I don’t know if you know of me or not, but I’ve only been around a couple of months and when I first found your blog, one of the 1st posts I read was about your afternoon drink you make when you get off from work; the Mickey D’s sweet tea with a splash of creamer….Well – let me say this…I craved that for, I swear it seemed forever..but then I finally remembered and had everything on hand and made me a gallon of my sweet tea and got out my Starbucks tumbler and omg!! Addicted! Really…this is totally my NEW thing, girl!! My husband makes it for me now when he’s being his sweet self…& he even told me HE loves it!! I always try to get him to share my iced vanilla coffee and he hates it. Bummer. But, he LOVES this!! And so do I! I told him it was from you and he even asked me this AM if I’d told you how much we love it, yet?! LOL!!! THANK YOU, KIMBERLY!!!
LOL Sorry for the awkwardly long comment! Just had to tell ya!
How awesome is that? And it turned out great! Your blog has wonderful information!
so clever! 🙂
Love this! I have a Keurig and I am always looking for different ways to store my Kcups. I must keep an open for one of these 🙂
