Hello, it’s Laura here! While I believe it is awesome to appreciate teachers every day, I find it super that there is a designated week each year for this. Here is a way to give a personalized gift that has little cost but is created with a lot of love. These
DIY Printable Teacher Notes for teacher appreciation gifts require only a few supplies to create something fabulous!
Teaching is not easy. Truth be told, it is challenging. While most days in the classroom were rewarding, may were filled with struggles as my students faced their challenges, fears and all the things that make growing up hard. I wrote a lot of notes. I wrote to the parents, to the kiddos and to other teachers. I wrote to guest speakers and volunteers. Having personalized notes as a teacher is really quite special and fun.
And now to the project…
You will need the FREE downloaded PDF of the notes, white paper or card stock, a black marker and a way to cut them. Envelopes are optional but lots of fun.
You can get the PDF to download HERE or by clicking on the photo below.
And now, here is what to do…
- Print ONE sheet of the notes.
- Add your teacher’s name four times, once in each quadrant.
- Make copies of this to create the amount you want to give.
- Match up with envelopes and package with a ribbon.
Of course, I think they look super adorable in this paint can painted to look like an apple. You can find out all about that fun project over on my blog here.
There are lots of ways you could use these
DIY Printable Teacher Notes. The designs can be cut out and added as embellishments to notes and paper crafts. Creating name badges and gift tags would be easy peasy too! You could even make a place card or a journal cover. The ideas are endless. Let us know how YOU use them!
Happy Celebrating Teachers,
Laura
