Hi friends! Today I’m sharing with you a quick and easy tutorial to make your very own Knock-Off Pottery Barn Mercury Pumpkins! Now I’m in love with all the mercury glass I’ve been seeing lately, but it can get pretty pricey. See this gorgeous vignette by Pottery Barn below? I want all of it, but just the small beautiful mercury pumpkin is $25. I knew there had to be a way to come up with something similar for much less.

And the answer is Krylon Looking Glass paint. It will turn any clear glass into a mirrored finish on one side. When you spray the paint on it dries matte and the opposite side is mirrored. So the trick is to find an item that you can paint from the inside. Then I found this cute little glass pumpkin at Target for just $6! I was sold! Just 5 light layers of spray later and I had my very own faux mercury glass pumpkin!
