{Thrifty Thursday} I Love Lamp

I was thrilled when I stumbled upon this lamp found a lamp I was stalking at the Goodwill and was able to purchase it on a 50% off day making it a whopping $3.50.
I knew exactly what the plans were for this gorgeous piece. To spray it head to toe from light bulb insert to wall plug in a ballet pink spray paint.
People these types of lamp stands {$78 WHHHHAT!? LOL} cost bookoo bucks…so being able to get this look for under $10 {including supplies} = WINNING!
Now get out there and find your lamp stand + tell it I lamp you and it will beautify a room for you! 😉

Thanks Chrissy!

Looks fantastic!
Thank you!!
I need to do a few lamp makeovers in my house!! Soooo very cute! I am addicted to Goodwill shopping sprees 🙂
Oh me too! I just went antiques shopping yesterday and had to visit Goodwill right after. Always great to get good inspiration then go treasure hunting right after!
Adorable! I saw a similar lamp at Goodwill the last time I was there and didn’t pick it up…I’ll think twice next time! 🙂 Love that shade too!
I sure wish I had your look of what something old can be turned in to something new. But I now have the inspiration! Thank you!
Thanks Lindsey! A can of spray paint can really makeover just about anything! Give it a try!
What a bright idea :). I actually really love that new base, it gives it a much more interesting styled look. Really great makeover.
Thanks Amy! And thanks for stopping by!! xo
Love that ballet slipper pink!
This turned out so great! I’m also on the lookout for thrift store lamp bases with potential but I never seem to have much luck. Great project! (I came over from the Create & Inspire Party!)

Thanks Allison! And LOVE that herringbone dresser! Amazing job!
Gorgeous! Isn’t spray paint the fix for everything? 🙂
It is! I’m a firm believer in that – thanks Kathleen!
What a great transformation! I love the colors. Megan
Thank you Megan!
Oh it’s SUUUUPER cute! Love that you took the old brass and breathed new life into it. And YES, I’ve seen those lamps go for $75+! Great job. 😉
Thanks Carrie!
That looks awesome! It’s unbeleivable how expensive lamps can be, but you netted yourself a bargain–hooray for Goodwill! The pale pink colour really goes well with the lampshade, without being too ‘in-yer-face’. Great job!
Thanks Kei!
Im loving this redo! im curious though about the shade. was it one that you purchased with that pattern already on it or is it fabric your wrapped around it? the colors in the shade are all the colors of my little girls room and im wanting to make some pillows.
Thanks Michelle – Rachel says it was a Liberty of London line at Target, but was only for a limited time and was a couple of years ago. Sorry! Good luck! Can’t wait to see those pillows!
Got to love a bargain when you see it! What a great transformation with a little paint. I have two of these lamps sitting up in my attic, got tired of looking at the brass~you have given me the idea to maybe paint them now.
I did recently find a gorgeous lamp stand without a shade, now I’m on the hunt for just the perfect one.
Oh good luck Jana!
This is really just too cute! I should go to the local Goodwill and find an older lamp and paint it for my spare bedroom:)
Thanks Mindy! Good luck Goodwill shopping!
What a score! You brought fantastic new life to the lamp … the colorful, fun shade was truly meant for it!
Thanks Becca!
